Real changes, newest first. Dates are in Europe/Paris.

Email digests with a "Max frequency" choice

Alert emails are no longer sent one by one. Each subscriber chooses a maximum frequency (15 min, 30 min, 1 h, 12 h by default, 24 h, week or month) and gets at most one digest per period, sorted by danger and confidence, in 7 languages. Nothing is sent when nothing is new; the confirmation email stays immediate.

City, country and incident pages, sitemaps, feeds, trust pages and an embeddable widget

Every city and country with alerts has its own server-rendered page in 7 languages (live 24 h / 7 d / 30 d counts, 30-day snapshot, recent alerts with source count and confidence, FAQ, sources, related places, Atom feed). Notable verified alerts have permanent incident pages. Split sitemaps, About, Sources, Methodology, Changelog, Status and a free embed widget were added. Pages with very little data are marked noindex.

Same-incident merging and a smoother confidence score

Alerts that are probably the same incident (match score above 0.5) are merged and their sources combined; syndicated wire copy counts once. Confidence now keeps rising with independent outlets, with diminishing returns, instead of stopping at 49. Alerts that had been wrongly grouped by city were split again.

Much larger source catalogue

The catalogue grew to about 40,000 feeds: more outlets from the GDELT list, city and country news queries and emergency-service feeds. Feeds that fail are retried with back-off and shown on the status page.

Branded email alerts in 7 languages

HTML emails with the city local time, one-click unsubscribe and List-Unsubscribe; email sign-up went live (confirmation by link). SMS and WhatsApp stay off for now.

Alert types simplified

The "cordon" type was folded into closure or gathering. Alert cards show a confidence badge and source counts.

Language picker, history and monitoring

Flag and short-code language picker, a historic alerts section with 24 h / 1 week / 1 month / 1 year / 5 year periods, per-city social images, and an external-style 5-minute uptime monitor.

Search and AI discoverability

robots.txt, sitemaps, llms.txt, Atom and RSS feeds, structured data and IndexNow were added; the first country and event pages were published.

Official road closures

National road events from DIR / Bison Futé (France) and Paris roadworks (now paused) were added as official sources, plus police, fire and emergency-service feeds of large cities.

Privacy policy and nightly backups

The /privacy page (English and French) was published and the nightly backup now covers media.

Descriptive, not a safety score. alerts.live counts and maps events reported by public sources. It does not rate how safe a place is. Informational only, not official: follow local authorities.
