Logistics and fleet operations
Watch road closures, strikes and blockades reported by public sources along your routes and around your depots.
What you get
- GeoJSON events through the free API with
bboxandtypefilters (for example closures and gatherings). - Webhooks for new alerts that match a filter.
- Official national road events for France combined with news-based alerts.
How to start
- Request
/api/v1/events?format=geojson&bbox=minLon,minLat,maxLon,maxLat&type=closureand refresh every few minutes. - Create a free key at /developers for 600 requests per minute (anonymous use is 60 per minute).
Limits
- Coverage is uneven between countries and depends on public sources; do not rely on it as your only source for routing decisions.
- alerts.live is descriptive and informational. It is not an official source, not an emergency service and gives no safety score for any place.
- Alerts are detected automatically in public sources and can be wrong or late. Each one shows its sources and a confidence score so you can judge it; see the methodology.
- Absence of alerts does not mean absence of events. Coverage depends on what public sources publish.

Descriptive, not a safety score. alerts.live counts and maps events reported by public sources. It does not rate how safe a place is. Informational only, not official: follow local authorities.
